- This Directory contains the OmniKey/Ultra SF utility program. With
- it, the top row of the Ultra's SF (Special Function) keys marked SF1
- through SF12 can be set to operate in one of four modes:
-
- Normal/SF; Shift/SF; Alt/SF and Ctrl/SF.
-
- Selection can be made at the DOS prompt or as part of a Batch file.
- Here are the commands for inclusion in your Autoexec.Bat file:
-
- SFSET N - Normal (same as the left function keys)
- SFSET A - Alt (sends Alt + function key)
- SFSET S - Shift (sends Shift + function key)
- SFSET C - Ctrl (sends Ctrl + function key)
-
- SF Key functions can be set in the DOS mode using the SF Select Key
- (located to the left of the CapsLock LED on the top righthand side
- of the keyboard) and the appropriate control key -- Shift, Ctrl, Alt.
- Hold down the SF Select key and press the desired control key.
-
- Next time you use the SF 1-12 keys, they will register as Shift/F, Ctrl/F
- or Alt/f.
-
- Using macro software programs, macros may be assigned to
- any SF key with any associated control key. Hence you could have as
- many as 48 distinct macros assigned to the SF keys.
